Photojournalism
My passion for photography began when I was a kid. Watching my sister take pictures pushed me to want to do the same. Even as she outgrew the love for being behind a camera, I never did. As a sophomore, I was given the opportunity to take pictures for athletic events at my school. This gave me the privilege and opportunity to attend state tournaments and travel to photograph countless sporting events for my school.

Sports Photography
Sports are my favorite thing to cover, I enjoy attending games and being able to write about them afterwards. As I am constantly attending athletic events, I have grown close with athletes and coaches at West High. This has helped me gain a lot of respect within my school for my writing and photography.

Sports are where my passion for being behind the camera began. From being a sophomore standing in the bleachers of a basketball game to traveling across the state to be on the mat of the State Wrestling Tournament, I have been able to grow tremendously through photography.
People
ome people hate having their picture taken, others will take any chance to jump in front of my camera. But my favorite? The people who just exist. The people in the student section or the students at graduation. The most beautiful pictures are the ones that people don't know are being taken.

West High is filled with hundreds of beautiful faces and souls, hundreds of different smiles, eyes and hair, and I get to capture it all.
